What is SourceHacks?

A hackathon built for builders who refuse to wait for permission.

SourceHacks is a fully online, theme-free hackathon where students from around the world come together to build ambitious projects in 24 hours. No flights. No venue caps. No artificial constraints on what you can create.

Whether you are shipping your first side project or pushing the boundaries of what AI can do, SourceHacks is designed for people who treat a weekend like a launchpad, not a homework assignment.

High school students sit alongside PhD researchers. Recent graduates collaborate with open source maintainers. The only requirement is curiosity and the willingness to build something real in a single day.
